1. Classic Tomato Soup

Ingredients

  • 800g chopped tomatoes, fresh or tinned
  • 1 medium onion, peeled & quartered
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 500ml veg or chicken stock
  • 2 tbsp crème fraiche
  • 1 tsp soft brown sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 5 twists black pepper

Method

  1. Place the olive oil, onion, and garlic in the soup jug. Replace the lid and press CHOP.
  2. Press SAUTE (skip this step if your soup maker doesn’t have it).
  3. Add the remaining ingredients and press SMOOTH SOUP.
  4. In 30 minutes, your soup will be ready.

Chef’s Tip: Swirl a little cream on top for added richness.

2. Broccoli & Stilton Soup

Ingredients

  • 375g broccoli, chopped, stalks and all
  • 1 medium onion, peeled & quartered
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 100g Stilton cheese, chopped
  • 800ml veg or chicken stock
  • 140g cream cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 5 twists black pepper

Method

  1. Place the olive oil, onion, and garlic in the soup jug. Replace the lid and press CHOP.
  2. Press SAUTE (skip if unavailable).
  3. Add the remaining ingredients and press SMOOTH SOUP.
  4. In 30 minutes, your soup will be ready.

Chef’s Tip: Use good-quality Stilton for a smoother, richer flavour.

3. Smooth Chicken Soup

Ingredients

  • 400g raw chicken breast, diced
  • 1 medium onion, peeled & quartered
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 medium potato, peeled & chopped
  • 600ml veg or chicken stock
  • 140g cream cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 5 twists black pepper

Method

  1. Place the olive oil, onion, and garlic in the soup jug. Replace the lid and press CHOP.
  2. Press SAUTE (skip if unavailable).
  3. Add the remaining ingredients and press SMOOTH SOUP.
  4. In 30 minutes, your soup will be ready.

Chef’s Tip: You can use cooked chicken if you have leftovers.

4. Chestnut Mushroom Soup

Ingredients

  • 500g chestnut mushrooms, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, peeled & quartered
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 800ml veg or chicken stock
  • 1 medium potato, peeled & chopped
  • 2 tbsp crème fraiche
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 5 twists black pepper

Method

  1. Place the olive oil, onion, and garlic in the soup jug. Replace the lid and press CHOP.
  2. Press SAUTE (skip if unavailable).
  3. Add the remaining ingredients and press SMOOTH SOUP.
  4. In 30 minutes, your soup will be ready.

Chef’s Tip: You can use any type of mushrooms for this soup.


5. Minestrone Soup

Ingredients

  • 400g fresh tomatoes, diced
  • 2 sticks celery, diced
  • 150g carrot, peeled & diced
  • 1 medium onion, peeled & diced
  • 200g potatoes, peeled & diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled & diced
  • 400g tin of baked beans
  • 1 tbsp tomato puree
  • 1 tbsp dried basil
  • 500ml veg or chicken stock
  • 100g dried spaghetti, broken into 2cm pieces
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 5 twists black pepper

Method

  1. Place all ingredients in the soup jug except spaghetti.
  2. Press COOK & HIGH for 15 minutes, then press CHUNKY SOUP.
  3. Add the spaghetti when 6 minutes remain.
  4. In 30 minutes, your soup will be ready.

Chef’s Tip: Dice vegetables uniformly for consistent texture.
